No I do not. How could I doubt someone I know? It's illogical. Adam and Eve knew God personally. He was visible to them as He walked with them in the garden and talked with them. They were in fellowship with Him. They never doubted God's existence. They were duped into doubting God did not have their best interests at heart and they doubted His love, this is why they believed the lie of Satan in the garden. They disobeyed God and brought sin upon the world. Not just on mankind but on the creation as well. Since theFall of Man, everything on earth degenerates and eventually dies. When mankind dies they either go to Heaven or to Hell.
God showed mankind that He had their best interests at heart and he proved it by displaying and extending grace and mercy to them through His loving-kindness. These are three important attributes of God that are expressed towards mankind. He doesnt need to express them amongst Himself (among the triune Godhead -three persons who comprise God). He expressed this lovingkindness and mercy through promising the coming Messiah/Christ/Savior to Adam and Eve. The people prior to 1 AD looked towards the coming day when this Anointed One would come and save them from their sins. After Jesus shed His blood on Calvary's cross, died and rose from the dead, we look back to the work of the Anointed One and are saved from our sins when we obey the gospel that presents Christ on the Cross.
The Bible says that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. Jesus of Nazareth was the Creator in human form (see John 1:1, 1Timothy 3:16). The reason God became a Man was to suffer for the sin of the world (taking the punishment that is due to us). Your goal should be to seek to know God, and when you find Him, He will offer salvation to you through the gospel command: Repent of your sins to God, Forsake sinning, and Trust only in Jesus completed work for your sins to be forgiven, and for you to be (permanently) right with God. Those who die in their sins will die unforgiven and they will be punished for their crimes against God, against His Law. (see Romans 5:19) Those who are forgiven and die, they will spend eternity with God in Heaven. God extends grace to everyone since the time of Christ. Scripture declares this when it says that He doesnt want anyone to perish, but all to come to repentance. He is being patient and slow to wrath so that people can know the truth and be saved.
The best way to seek to find and know God is by reading the Bible. It is God's word to mankind directly from God. Scripture says that God's word never changes and it will always remain. We need to take God at His word and not be duped by Satan's lies. He has spread many in this world over time, through various faithless and religious based ways. God says if you know the truth the truth will set you free. Will you study to know the truthso it can set you free? Pick up a Bible today and start reading it. God will never let you down, He will never lie to you, and He always has your best interests at heart. He created you and He wants to redeem you from the curse of the Law that requires damnation for your crimes against God. He is merciful and gracious and He proved His love for you in Jesus Christ.
